Transition Town is holding its monthly Pot Luck on Thurs April 28 in the club room at St. Andrew's United Church . We gather at 5:30 and eat at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

Our topic : upcoming projects and workshops.   It will be an Incubation of Ideas!

 

There will also be a presentation on Urban biking in the City of North Bay by Rod Bilz. The present and where we go from here to make the city a safe and active biking community.

FIFTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

St. Andrew's United Church, Cassells & McIntyre

Thursday January 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

After the Pot Luck Supper at 6:00 p.m.

Transition Town North Bay & Area is holding its fifth AGM, and we hope you can attend! 
Come to the pot luck as well, and bring others who might be interested in becoming voting 
members of Transition Town North Bay & Area. New members will be able to sign up at the 
beginning of the meeting.

 

ANNOUNCING GORD MILLER WILL SPEAK AT TRANSITION TOWN AGM JAN. 28 Gord Miller recently

attended the climate change talks in Paris, and will give a first-hand account of the agreements

reached there. He will also talk about how we can participate locally to support the Paris agreements.

Environmental Commission of Ontario [2000-2015], Gord had the role of watchdog for the Province,

enforcing the Environmental Bill of Rights and receiving citizens complaints concerning environmental

degradation and pollution. He has been a strong advocate. An excellent speaker, he calls himself the ecoguy.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear and discuss the global effort to preserve our planet; it is an open

meeting of the AGM for Transition Town North Bay & Area and all are welcome to come.

We gather for potluck supper at 6 p.m. AGM begins at 7 p.m
